Fantasy Life i - Day and Night Cycle

Day and Night Cycle affects some elements in FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time (FLi) such as enemies, shops, and NPCs. Find out what the day and night cycle does as well as how to change the time in game!

How Day and Night Cycle Works

Day and Night Cycle Effects

Monster Appearances

Enemies

Certain monsters are exclusive to night or day. Some rare bosses may also only spawn at specific times. If you’re hunting materials or bounties, keep an eye on the clock.

List of All Monsters

NPC Availability

NPC

Some NPCs are only around during certain hours. Quest-givers could wander home, and new characters might show up after dark.

If you can’t find someone, it’s probably worth checking again at a different time of day.

Time Specific Quests

Quest

Expect some quests to only trigger or be completable at certain times. An NPC might ask you to chase off night monsters, or deliver something before dawn.

If a quest objective isn’t available, double-check the time!

Sleep

Bed.

You can sleep in your own home or at an inn to pass time.

Sleeping let you wake up in the morning or at night, your choice.

Rest at Campfires In the Overworld

Camp Site

You’ll be able to rest at campfires out in Ginormosia. These are great for recovering HP and setting a new time of day without returning to town.
