Farming is the newest type of Gathering Life exclusive to FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time. Learn how to farm, how to grow your own crops, and how to unlock farming!

How to Farm
Find Farm
To start, look for farms with grown crops. These plots of land are usually denoted with carrot icons on the map.

Once you find the crop you need, start harvesting with your Interact button. Like all Gathering Lives, using your hoe will take stamina and will depend if you use a Normal Plow or Strong Plow.
Strong Plows will take up more SP but will deal more damage to the crops.
Deplete All Crops' HP
Depending on the level of the crops, it might take a few swings to completely deplete its HP. Once depleted, collect all the materials it drops.
Crops Don't Reset HP
Unlike ores and trees, crops do not reset HP when you stop hoeing them when your run out of HP. Players can refill their SP to continue hoeing higher-leveled crops.
How to Grow Your Own Crops
Build Farms From Cooke
To raise your own crops in your Base Camp, talk to Cooke to buy farm fields from him. He will give you 4 options at the start, from radishes, potatoes, onions and pumpkin.
Sow Seeds
After setting up the fields and waiting for them to finish, sow the respective seeds in their fields with the Interact button.
Farm Seeds
Seeds can be naturally farmed from harvesting their crops. Carrot harvests will yield carrot seeds, radishes will yield radish seeds, and more!
Buy Seeds From Marco
Marco will also offer his own catalogue of seeds. If you are short a few seeds, talk to him to buy a couple.
Water Sprouts
After sowing your seeds, water them with the Interact button. Once your seeds start to grow into sprouts, water them again to allow them to continue to grow into a fully grown crop.
Sprouts Will Wither If Not Watered
When you forget to water a sprout, it will wither and you will have to manually pull them out.
Wait for Crops to Grow
Now, all the player will need to do is to wait in real time for these crops to grow. Once they're ripe for harvest, simply use your hoe and repeat the process!
How to Unlock Farming
Join the Farmer Life
Farming can be unlocked by joining the Farmer Life. You can change lives at the Guild, so simply talk to Auntie Anne to switch to a new life.
